Creed

I believe in One God, revealed to us in One Person, Jesus Christ the Nazarene.

I believe in Jesus Christ the Nazarene. He is my Creator, my God, my Savior, and my LORD. He is YHWH Incarnate, the only begotten Son of God. Jesus Christ is the King of kings, and Lord of lords. He is the very image of the invisible Father God, Who is YHWH in all His unveiled holiness, power, majesty, beauty, and glory.

I believe in YHWH, the I AM WHO I AM, the great I AM, Who is Holy! Holy! Holy! He is infinitely and eternally self-existent, immortal and invisible. He is One, the only True and Everlasting God. Besides Him there is no other. There is none who is His equal. He defines existence and reality. He is infinite and unchanging in His Holy divine essence. YHWH is not limited in any way, except in how He chooses to limit Himself. He does whatever He wills, and knows whatever He wills. Nothing can be hidden or kept from Him. Whatever He wills is Holy, Pure, Perfect, Good, Beautiful, and True.

I believe the God-Man, Jesus Christ the Nazarene, is body, soul, and spirit. His soul, His very being, His very essence, is YHWH Himself, and His spirit is the Spirit of YHWH, the Holy Spirit of God. His body is the only Holy, Perfect, Complete, Immortal and Incorruptible spiritual and physical body of Man spoken into being in eternal glory by the Father.

I believe the God-Man, Jesus Christ, created man on earth in His own image, male and female He created them. Body, soul, and spirit, He created them, and set eternity in their hearts for the purpose that man on earth would enjoy an eternal loving relationship with God and with each other, as a reflection, an image, of the relationship of perfect love and unity between The Father and The Son that is gloriously expressed and experienced forever in eternity. The Father and The Son are infinitely loving; their holy, perfect, and glorious love is without end.

I believe in the fall of man on earth into enmity against the Creator LORD God by sins of deception and rebellion. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Every sin leads to death: eternal death, spiritual death, and physical death.

I believe in the redemption of man on earth by the God-Man, Jesus Christ the Nazarene. The LORD Jesus Christ took upon Himself our sins as if they were His own, and died a horrific, cruel, and extraordinarily painful physical death on the Cross of Calvary; but even more unimaginably tormenting was the eternal and spiritual death He experienced on our behalf when He was forsaken by the Father because of our sin and He cried out on the Cross “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me!” … “Into your hands I commit my spirit.” He paid the penalty of sin that was our due. He suffered the wrath of God the Father in our place and died the death that was ours to die.

I believe in the resurrection from the dead to life eternal. We can be saved from the wrath of God and the eternal, spiritual and physical death that is our due for our sin and we can be raised to a new glorious life reconciled to our Creator, our God, our Savior, and our LORD, because The LORD Jesus Christ laid down His life for us and He took it back up, raising Himself from the dead, becoming the Firstborn from the dead.

I believe in the promise that if we confess our sins, the LORD Jesus Christ is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I believe in the promise that if we call upon the name of the LORD, we will be saved. I confess with my mouth Jesus Christ the Nazarene as LORD, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that I am therefore a new creation in Christ, that I am declared to be righteous in Him, and that I am being sanctified as I surrender to the Holy Spirit moment by moment, walk in the Spirit and take up my cross daily.

I believe in the communion of the saints, the holy, universal church, which is being sanctified and will be glorified as the bride of the LORD Jesus Christ, becoming one with Him as the body of Christ.

I believe the LORD Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, after rising from the dead and appearing to His disciples and many other eyewitnesses, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, where He is our Advocate and Mediator before the Father.

I believe the LORD Jesus Christ will return to earth in glory as the conquering Messiah, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; and He will judge the living and the dead.

I believe Jesus Christ the Nazarene is LORD of all, and to Him every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.
